get fit, STAY FIERCE

ok ya'll...this is it. your new homebase for losing weight. by being on this journey together we pledge to:

1. transform into leaner, healthier, and happier peoples
2. be candid about our progress -- by documenting the process with weekly weigh-ins (by posting your weight or bmi) accompanied with a picture at time of weigh-in
3. provide support and encouragement for each other!
4. share recipes, resources, exercise hints and tips

OK PEOPLE...ARE YOU READY??...LET'S DO THIS!!...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

    Although I will likely be frustrated and bitchy until the holidays are over; I anticipate two more pounds of cookie-fat by new years. 2010 is a brand new life, babies.

  2. Also, I think the picture thing is a good idea, but the more I think about it, the more labor-intensive it seems. What if we do the pic once a month, instead of every week at weigh-in?

  5. i am going to be eating cookies and cake and candy and bacon, and then feel guilty about it when i write it all down here, every day. a surefire way to make the holidays merrier! heh.

  6. Mama ain't got no willpower these days, but I will still stare at the side of the box stats while I consume its ENTIRE contents. I dig the pic a month idea - i think we'll hopefully see bigger results. Glad to be goin' off the rails on this crazy train!

  8. word. i think peeps should post pics of them whenever they want...at a bare minimum, once a month. i just like the idea of a lot of pics adding up to a flip book of fat to thin. that is my fantasy.

    we should quantify each pic with the current date, number of days since starting our new habits, AND our measurements. i have found that tracking measurements is almost more satisfying than seeing a change in weight.

  9. Yeah Suze - that is the first time we did that sketch, which was when I was 7.5 months preggo with Zeke. Like I said, I don't jump in fromt of a camera too often.
    Adrienne - LOVE the idea of a flip book. one question - how do we add more than one photo at a time? Measurements huh? Okey dokey Smokey - in for a dime in for a dollar. Guess I'll have to go get a soft measuring tape - don't think Ben's construction grade one will be super accurate...havin' a good day so far ladies! Let's kick this shit in the can! Literally. Forgot to mention I can be a tad corny from time to time. Who cares if it gets us closer to fine though right?

    and i LOVE the notion of a flip book. on it!

    i think i'm going to designate a weight-in/photo outfit for continuity and the sheer pleasure of seeing the clothes eventually hang off of me.

    yes, yes, yes!

    so when do we want to do the first official weigh-in? i think i'm going to do saturday as my first with photo. game on!
