things to be proud of

-- kathy smith on sunday
-- bollywood dance class last night
-- gym today

-- 3 full days of lots of veggies + low calorie and low sugar eating
-- quelching my internal cries for a sugar treat with another glass of water and a pep talk

-- signing up for sparkpeople.com; very helpful! i set up my goals, got my recommended calorie intake, and set up a work out plan. aerobic and strength training. the isolated exercises and videos are the bomb.

-- getting through another day!

  2. girl...that bollywood class was a STRAIGHT UP private lesson, i was the only one there! it was ok, started at 8:30PM, the teacher was kinda kooky and really into the indian dance culture but it seemed like she had just watched dance routines and mimicked what they did. so, for 1 hour we built on move after move and eventually had a routine that we danced together with a random dude playing the bongos in the corner.

    it was an interesting foray back into the world of dance after not having taken a class for about 20 years. i hope my experience will get better...i think i'll switch to her bollywood "performance" class (with pretty pretty outfits) or maybe a modern dance class.

    ALSO...on the indian dance tip...at the gym last night, they had a PACKED HOUSE in one of the studios for an indian dance aerobic class! i'm totally signing up for next week's class! JAI HO!
